When the time came to choose a name for his business, Fabrice Bénichou opted for that of the first architect of the Egyptian pyramids.
Imhotep is an historical character who is emblematical of Ancient Egypt. He was a multi-faceted man. He was a vizier (a high government officer) and an architect; it was also said that he was a doctor and a philosopher. The most well-known structure in his architectural work is undoubtedly the first step pyramid in the world (at Saqqarah). The pyramid puts its mark on its time and today symbolises timeless longevity and solidity.
